1st January 2011
trio Gypsyhologika
and singer Bojana Fabel
Amongst pure and soulful Balkan sounds and sage-scented incense, roaring voices and unstoppable dances, the Balkan Express starts this 2011 with an unforgettable musical kick.
The trio Gypsyhologika with singer Bojana Fabel opens the live music act with a performance of adamantine voice and rearrangements of famous traditional Gypsy and Balkan tunes – our party guests joining in happily with passionate vocals and dancing.
After a sage-scented series of belly dances by Serbian dancer Ljiljana the audience is ready for the second live music act. The Balkan Express House Band powers up the night, involving our guests in a series of wild dances and proper New Year’s Day games.
We hoped this party would be a great start of 2011. And it went far beyond our imagination. This was THE start of the New Year. A celebration of colours, scents and sounds that welcomed the future in such a proper way that the past blushed and unambiguously gave way to a new amazing year.
Thanks to all of you, amazing guests, who joined us for this memorable celebration. And thanks to all the artists who performed and made our night fantastic. Thank you Gypsyhologika, Bojana Fabel, Gabriel Lavenant, the Balkan Express House Band, Gundula Gruen, Ana Reisinger and Antonio Riva.

7th November 2010
The 1st BALKAN EXPRESS
has departed!
Our first edition of this monthly music night was a banger. Gypsy Balkan tracks, hand-selected with love, warmed up the atmosphere as people arrived, and got people up dancing throughout the eve.
Tatcho Drom, London’s leading Balkan band, started the real party with their hot music making. The breakthrough into a proper Balkan frenzy happened with Special Guest Antonio Riva joining for Šaban Bajramović songs: Hanuma, Haljinica Boje Lila and Opa Cupa went down a storm with the crowd fully joining in !!!

Some of the comments on the night: "Loved every note", "Fantastic", "Tantsuvah dokato padnah", "Nezaboravno, daleko iznad mojih očekivanja", "Looking forward to the next one"
