Oliver
Baldwin was a member of Dunav, Londons first band of musicians
not originating in E. Europe, to perform Eastern European music.
Dunav was founded by his father who plays the Bulgarian instrument,
the Tambura. In 1986, Oli won a scholarship to study ethnomusicology
in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. As well as playing the bass with She’Koyokh,
Oli performs with Mukka who play North African, Eastern European
and Balkan music. He also plays in a Jazz band called Professor
no Hair and the Wig Lifters.
